From a late London paper.
A POEM ON A LAWSUIT.
Law is, as now a days is us'd,
A stream corrupted, and abus'd,
To day we are told, that A. and B.
In right, and wrong, both disagree;
For that B. bought of A. a cow,
Two calves, and a half starved sow;
For which, by contract A. was to have ten pounds,
But B. having kept them in his grounds,
Says, his demand is just the same amount,
And wants to arrest A. for the sum of his account.
